Company history

In 2013, Agilitas Private Equity acquired ISS Skadeservice, the Norwegian, Danish and Finnish damage control activities of ISS, in three simultaneous carve-outs. The businesses were merged and subsequently rebranded Recover Nordic Group.

During 2013 and 2014, recover focused on separating from ISS and creating a Group Management team. Chairman Ståle Angel (previously CEO Elixia) and CFO Finn Øistein Nordam (previously CFO of Blueway and Samlerhuset) joined Recover in 2014. CEO Bjørn Herlofsen (former SVP at ISS and Operations Director for ISS APAC and Central Europe) joined in January 2015

In late 2014 and 2015 the new management team aquired and integrated five companies, becoming a fully pan-Nordic player and the Nordic market leader in damage control. It also represented a step change for Recover's Environmental activities.

In 2016 the management team was further strengthened with new MDs of Norway and Finland. Recovers sixth add-on acquisition was completed January 2017. The acquisition expands the geographic coverage of Sweden.
